Leave Additional Rules

Leave Additional Rules are those rules which are not predefined, however they can be defined in addition to these set of rules. Such Rules can be configured in the Service book of the Employee.

Inputs Needed

  • Leave types must be configured.
  • Post Type configuration for the leaves should be defined.
  • Leave Applicability should be defined.
  • Leave Cycle should be configured.

Functionality

  • Apart from the existing leave rules, additional Leave Credit Rules can be defined. For Eg:
  1. CL can be credited on prorate basis from the date of joining till 31st December of that calendar year.
  2. SL can be credited on prorate basis from the date of joining till 31st December of that calendar year.
  3. No two leave types can be availed together.
  • If an employee applies for leave which falls adjacent to another leaves proper alert messages to the employee and all sanctioning authorities will be flashed.
  • Such additional Rules can be configured separately and can be configured through service book of the employee.
