Terminology Used

  • CO (Course Outcome) - Course Outcomes describe the learning that will take place across the curriculum through concise statements, made in specific and measurable terms, of what students will know and be able to do as the result of having successfully completed a course.
  • COPO Mapping - Course Outcomes are stated for every course and we have to show the correlation between the course outcome with programme outcome in that scenario using PO evaluators we can show the correlation between CO and PO.
  • Rubric Range - Rubric is a scoring guide that is used to evaluate the quality of students’ constructed responses. It will be useful in CO attainment Calculation.

Input Needed

  • CO master
  • Correlation Matrix for COPO mapping
  • Rubric Range

Functionality

  • As admin you have the provision to add the Course Outcome from your end directly.
  • If the course outcome added by the faculty It will appear here for admin’s approval.
  • As an Admin you can edit the CO details, Accept, Disapprove or Delete the CO from the list.
  • Behalf of faculty admin can have the provision to show the correlation between CO with PO and able to update the Rubric range which will be used in CO attainment Calculation.

Step by Step

  • To approve the faculty configured CO select the programme and subject name from the drop down.
  • You will able to see the faculty configured CO where you will get the buttons for approve or disapprove the CO.
  • As admin you can edit the CO or can able to delete the CO.

  • Admin have the provision to Add New CO behalf of faculty. To add the New CO, click on Add new button and enter the CO details and Click on save button.

  • Same as CO configuration at admin end admin have the access to mapped the CO with POs and configure the rubric range.
  • For mapping CO with POs click on COPO Mapping tab and click on edit button to map using PO Evaluator.
  • Admin can able to edit the existing COPO mapping or Rubric range.
