Synopsis Approval by Guide
A Synopsis is a short, systematic outline of your proposed Thesis.Synopsis submitted by candidate will be sent to the respective competent authority (Guide, HOD, Thesis dept and referee) and/or Dean of Faculty for evaluate and approve.To evaluate candidates synopsis Guide can suggest referee,which Dean will finalize and will send an invitation to them to evaluate candidates synopsis and thesis.

Pre-requisites
- Candidate guide allocation must be done
- Candidate should have submitted the Synopsis
Terminologies Used
- Guide : Guide shall mean a member of the academic staff of the University/Constituent Unit, who guide/supervise the research work of the candidate.
- HOD : Head of the Department
- Dean : The head of a university faculty or department.
- Referee : A referee is someone who has been given the responsibility of evaluating the suitability of thesis and the candidate for the award of PG and Ph.d.
- Convocation Year : Convocation means a large, formal meeting, esp. for the ceremony at a university at the end of a course of study.We can define period to identify candidate who have registered or accomplished their Synopsis & Thesis in defined Convocation Year.

Functionality
1) Synopsis Approval by Guide
- Synopsis submitted in by candidate with completed course work will be shown in Pending tab in guide synopsis approval.Guide can download the candidates synopsis and approve it after evaluation.Once it is approved by Guide it will be sent for approval to the HOD.
2) Add/Suggest Referee
- If guide choose to approve candidates submission then he/she can suggest referee by accepting declaration of evaluation of Synopsis & Thesis to be given by Guide.
- Guide will be able give priority to Referee which will be considered in sending invitation after finalized referees by dean.
3) Send back to Students
- Guide can send back candidate synopsis with Remark to the candidate in case of any recommendation or changes required.
