Terminology Used

Teaching - Teaching staff include professional personnel directly involved in teaching students, including classroom teachers. and those are regular pay employee in particular institute.

Non Teaching - Non-teaching staff are staff other than Teaching staff engaged in Administrative work of the Institution indifferent level. and those are regular pay employee in particular institute.

Contractual Faculty - A contractual Faculty is a full time teaching position with a much less salary than the regular (tenured) job and the contract needs to be renewed from time to time.

Contractual Staff - A contractual Staff is a full time non-teaching position with a much less salary than the regular (tenured) job and the contract needs to be renewed from time to time.
