After the thesis has been recommended by the experts as per the regulation,the candidate shall be invited to defend his thesis in presence of Guide,Chair Person and External Experts (Referee) in open defense.
As per the Thesis and Defense of candidate thesis evaluation will be done on the basis of specific Parameters.

Candidate Thesis Evaluation must be done and approved by Internal and External Examination
Thesis Evaluation report Must be submitted by Internal and External Examiner

Guide : Guide shall mean a member of the academic staff of the University/Constituent Unit, who guide/supervise the research work of the candidate.
HOD : Head of the Department
Dean : The head of a university faculty or department.
Referee : A referee is someone who has been given the responsibility of evaluating the suitability of thesis and the candidate for the award of PG and Ph.d.
Convocation Year : Convocation means a large, formal meeting, esp. for the ceremony at a university at the end of a course of study.We can define period to identify candidate who have registered or accomplished their Thesis & Thesis in defined Convocation Year.

1) Request for Open Defense

After approval and submission of Reports by Guide and referees Guide will be able to request for Candidate Open Defense which will be sent for approval to HOD of the department.
HOD will assign a chair person and will finalize the date of Candidates Open Defense.
