Terminology Used

  • General rules : These rules include the number of days for re-issue of library media for all member type.
  • Fine rules : These rules includes defining the fine amount based on the number of days delay.
  • Deposit rules : It includes defining the deposit amount based on the member type.
  • Group rules : Collection of different library medias can be named as a group. For e.g., "Group A" includes 1 Reference Book, 2 CDs and 3 journals.

Step by Step

1) Select the library, course type and department for which rules are to be defined.

2) Define General rules for all member types against all library medias.

  * These includes defining number of re-issue days in regular and exam days. 
  * Maximum number of books that can be issued in regular days and in exam days can also be defined.
